    SEE ALSO...

LITAF Antibody (30) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects LITAF in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). LITAF, or LPS-induced TNFα factor, is a nuclear protein that plays a pivotal role in the regulation of tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα) gene transcription, which is essential for the inflammatory response to bacterial infections. LITAF mediates the secretion of TNFα and other inflammatory mediators in response to lipopolysaccharide (LPS), a potent stimulator of monocytes and macrophages. LITAF′s ability to regulate TNFα expression is crucial for maintaining immune homeostasis and responding effectively to pathogens. High levels of LITAF mRNA expression have been observed in key immune tissues, including the placenta, peripheral blood leukocytes, lymph nodes, and spleen, highlighting LITAF′s significance in immune function and inflammatory processes. Anti-LITAF antibody (30) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying the mechanisms of inflammation and immune responses in human health and disease.

I am using LITAF (30): sc-135974 for immunofluorescence, what dilution of this antibody should I use?

    Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. We recommend a starting dilution of 1:50. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunofluorescence protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunofluorescence-cell-staining
