LIFR Antibody (H-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects LIFR in human samples through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LIFR, or leukemia inhibitory factor receptor, plays a crucial role in mediating the effects of leukemia inhibitory factor, which is essential for various cellular processes, including cell survival, differentiation, and proliferation. LIFR protein is primarily located on the cell surface, where LIFR forms a receptor complex with gp130, facilitating the transduction of signals that influence cell fate decisions. This localization allows LIFR to respond to extracellular signals and activate intracellular pathways that can lead to significant biological outcomes, such as the regulation of immune responses and the maintenance of stem cell pluripotency. Additionally, LIFR is known to interact with other cytokine receptors, enhancing functional versatility and underscoring importance in various physiological and pathological contexts. Anti-LIFR antibody (H-7) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying these complex signaling pathways and their implications in health and disease.
