DUXBL Antibody (B-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects DUXBL protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DUXBL (B-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DUXBL protein belongs to the double homeobox (DUX) family, which plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression during early embryonic development. This family includes several members, such as DUX1, DUX2, DUX3, DUX4, and DUX5, with DUX1 and DUX5 sharing a high degree of sequence identity. DUX4, also known as DUX10, is implicated in Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD) due to its location within the D4Z4 repeat unit. Homeobox domains in these proteins are essential for DNA binding and transcriptional regulation, influencing developmental processes and cellular differentiation. Understanding DUXBL function and interactions within the DUX family can provide insights into developmental biology and potential therapeutic targets for related muscular dystrophies.
