SEE ALSO...

Dia 2 Antibody (C-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Dia 2 in mouse, rat, and human samples through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Dia 2, also known as DIAPH2 or mDia3, is a critical member of the formin family of proteins, which play a vital role in regulating actin dynamics within cells. Dia 2 (C-7) antibody targets a protein primarily located in the cytoplasm that′s essential for forming and elongating actin filaments, crucial for cell motility, division, and shape maintenance. Dia 2 monoclonal antibody (C-7) recognizes a protein particularly important in reproductive tissues, as Dia 2 has been implicated in oogenesis and is expressed in testis and ovary. Mutations or defects in the gene encoding Dia 2 have been associated with premature ovarian failure type 2A, a condition leading to reduced ovarian function and fertility issues. Dia 2 exists in three alternatively spliced isoforms, which may have distinct regulatory roles in cellular processes. Through interactions with Rho GTPases and other signaling molecules, anti-Dia 2 antibody (C-7) helps researchers study a key player in cellular signaling pathways, making this tool invaluable for investigating actin dynamics and related disorders.
