BVES Antibody (H-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects blood vessel epicardial substance (BVES) in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). BVES is a crucial transmembrane protein involved in cell-cell interactions and adhesion, particularly at tight junctions, which are essential for maintaining the integrity of epithelial layers. Anti-BVES antibody (H-4) recognizes a unique structure, comprising an extracellular amino-terminus, three transmembrane domains, and a cytoplasmic carboxyl-terminus, which collectively facilitate its role in cellular adhesion and communication.
