SEE ALSO...

AGR2 Antibody (6C5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects AGR2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-AGR2 antibody (6C5) is available as the non-conjugated format. AGR2, or Anterior Gradient Protein 2, is a crucial secretory protein that plays a significant role in various cellular processes, particularly in the context of cancer. AGR2 is encoded by two different transcripts and interacts with specific proteins such as LYPD3 and α-dystroglycan (DAG-1), which are important for cell signaling and adhesion. AGR2 expression is notably up-regulated in several types of cancers, including prostate, breast, lung, renal, and endometrial carcinomas, making AGR2 a potential therapeutic marker for these diseases. Furthermore, AGR2 expression shows a positive correlation with estrogen receptor levels while being negatively correlated with epidermal growth factor receptor levels, highlighting AGR2′s importance in cancer biology and potential as a target for therapeutic intervention.
