    SEE ALSO...

ADAMTS-L4 Antibody (H-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ADAMTS-L4 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ADAMTS-L4 (H-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ADAMTS-L4, also known as TSRC1 (Thrombospondin repeat-containing protein 1), is a 1,074 amino acid secreted protein that plays a crucial role in regulating apoptosis, making ADAMTS-L4 significant in the context of various diseases, including cancer. ADAMTS-L4 interacts with cathepsin B, which is involved in protein degradation and has implications in tumor progression and metastasis. Expression of ADAMTS-L4 in tissues such as the spleen, liver, skeletal muscle, lung, colon, testis, placenta, heart, and leukocytes highlights ADAMTS-L4′s importance in diverse biological processes and potential as a therapeutic target. Mutations in ADAMTS-L4 can lead to autosomal recessive isolated ectopia lentis, a rare condition characterized by the displacement of the lens due to defective zonule formation. With multifaceted roles and interactions, ADAMTS-L4 remains a valuable target for research in both normal physiology and pathological conditions.
