TRAM-34 könnte ein Hemmstoff für klonierte und native IK1-Kanäle in menschlichen T-Lymphozyten sein. Diese K+-Kanäle werden mit einer übermäßigen Zellproliferation in Verbindung gebracht. Die Hemmung der IK1-Kanäle moduliert die Zellproliferation in Abhängigkeit von der Konzentration von TRAM-34. TRAM-34 kann einen Stopp des Zellwachstums in der G0/G1-Phase bewirken.
