SerpinB9f Activators

Chemical activators of SerpinB9f operate through various signaling pathways to ensure its functional activation. Sodium Orthovanadate, for example, maintains the phosphorylation of tyrosine residues on proteins by inhibiting protein tyrosine phosphatases, which is a crucial step in the signaling cascades that activate SerpinB9f. Similarly, Phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (PMA) activates Protein Kinase C (PKC), which then phosphorylates proteins in pathways that lead to SerpinB9f activation.
