Tunicamycin, which inhibits N-linked glycosylation, may increase the demand for protein degradation machinery, thus enhancing the function of CNOT4. Lastly, Bisindolylmaleimide I, a specific inhibitor of PKC, can affect various cellular pathways that potentially activate CNOT4 indirectly.
