    SEE ALSO...

YIPF3 Antibody (E-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects YIPF3 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-YIPF3 antibody (E-6) is available as the non-conjugated form. The YIP1 family, to which YIPF3 belongs, consists of small membrane proteins that interact with Rab GTPases, playing a crucial role in membrane trafficking and vesicle biogenesis. YIPF3, also known as KLIP1 or FinGER3, is a 350 amino acid cytoplasmic and multi-pass membrane protein that is particularly important in hematopoiesis, as YIPF3 is expressed in fetal liver and by nucleated hematopoietic cells. YIPF3′s location within the cell is significant because YIPF3′s multi-pass membrane structure allows effective participation in the transport and sorting of proteins and lipids, which is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and function. The gene encoding YIPF3 is located on human chromosome 6, a region associated with various health conditions, including early onset intestinal cancer and several genetic disorders. Understanding YIPF3′s role in cellular processes can provide insights into potential implications in disease mechanisms and therapeutic targets.
