UltraCruz^® Centrifuge Tubes with Plastic Rack for Cell and Tissue Culture, Sterile are essential for laboratories. These high performance pieces of labware are recommended for a wide range of cell and tissue culture applications. The environmentally friendly Plastic Rack is manufactured from polypropylene and is autoclavable, reusable, and recyclable. The rack keeps items organized and accessible at all times while being chemically resistant to drips. With a widely spaced design of rack slots, they catch drips and allow Centrifuge Tubes to be retrieved easily. The bottom is constructed to prevent sticking or freezing to the work surface. Rack support frames are formulated to keep centrifuge tubes and samples safe during procedures or transportation for uncompromised testing. Designed RNAse/DNAse free and non-pyrogenic, the Centrifuge Tubes are sterile and have a maximum relative centrifugal force (RFU) of 12,000 grams. Also, they are marked with 0.5 ml incremented graduations printed in bold, easy-to-read black ink and are accurate to ±2%. The molded graduations at the conical bottom make them ideal for pellet viewing and small volume quantification. A large white marking area provides excellent contrast for identification. They have easy to write-on flat surface polyethylene (HDPE) caps and feature an integrated leak-proof seal. Centrifuge Tubes can handle a temperature range of -80°C to 120°C. For convenience, they are provided in a zip-closure bag.
