UBE2C Antibody (B-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects UBE2C in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). UBE2C, also known as UBCH10, plays a crucial role in the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway, specifically as an E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme that is integral to the function of the anaphase-promoting complex (APC). This complex is essential for the regulation of the cell cycle, as UBE2C facilitates the timely degradation of key cell-cycle regulators, thereby ensuring proper mitotic progression and the transition to the G1 phase. UBE2C overexpression in various cancers highlights its importance in cell cycle regulation, making UBE2C a potential target for therapeutic intervention.
