    TAF I p110/p95 Antibody (D-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TAF I p110/p95 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TAF I p110/p95 (D-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TAF I p110/p95 plays a crucial role in gene transcription regulation, particularly in assembling initiation complexes at the promoter for RNA polymerase I, where TAF I p110/p95 is a key component of human transcription factor SL1 (also known as mouse TIF-IB). This protein complex is essential for accurate ribosomal RNA transcription, vital for ribosome biogenesis and protein synthesis in cells. TAF I p110/p95, along with other TAF subunits, ensures transcriptional regulation specificity and efficiency, highlighting TAF I p110/p95′s importance in cellular growth and function. Mutually exclusive binding of TAF I or TAF II subunits to TATA-binding protein (TBP) influences promoter- and RNA polymerase-specific complex formation, further underscoring TAF I p110/p95′s significance in transcriptional control.
