    SEE ALSO...

Se18.9 Antibody (B-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the Se18.9 protein of Streptococcus equi strain 4047 origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Se18.9 antibody (B-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Se18.9 (B-8) antibody recognizes a protein consisting of 163 amino acids that plays a crucial role in the pathogenesis of Streptococcus equi, a bacterium responsible for equine strangles, a highly contagious respiratory disease in horses. Understanding Se18.9 function is vital, as this protein is involved in the bacterium′s ability to evade the host immune response, making Se18.9 a potential target for therapeutic interventions and vaccine development. Research with Se18.9 (B-8) monoclonal antibody can provide insights into infection mechanisms and contribute to advancing equine health.
