PPARγ Antibody (E-8): sc-7273

PPARγ Antibody (E-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PPARγ protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PPARγ (E-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, phycoerythrin, fluorescein isothiocyanate, and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PPARγ monoclonal antibody (E-8) is recommended for detecting both PPARγ1 and PPARγ2 gene products. PPARγ, a member of the nuclear hormone receptor superfamily, plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression related to insulin sensitivity, adipocyte differentiation, and lipid metabolism. Formation of heterodimers with retinoid X receptors (RXRs) allows modulation of gene transcription involved in critical metabolic processes, influencing pathophysiology of conditions such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases.
