p33ING1 Antibody (CAb 9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects p33ING1 in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). p33ING1 plays a crucial role as a tumor suppressor, with its gene frequently exhibiting mutations or reduced expression in various tumor cell lines, particularly in gastric cancers and head and neck squamous carcinomas. p33ING1 is primarily located in the nucleus, where anti-p33ING1 antibody (CAb 9) can detect interactions with tumor suppressor p53, enhancing p53′s ability to induce growth arrest and programmed cell death. This interaction is vital, as p33ING1 not only modulates p53′s transcriptional activity but is also essential for p53-mediated negative regulation of cell proliferation. By promoting these cellular processes, p33ING1 contributes significantly to maintaining cellular homeostasis and preventing tumorigenesis, making p33ING1 (CAb 9) monoclonal antibody an important tool for cancer research and therapeutic strategies.
