Neuregulin-2 Antibody (A-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Neuregulin-2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Neuregulin-2 antibody (A-12) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Neuregulin-2, a member of the neuregulin family, plays a crucial role in the development and function of the nervous system, particularly in regulating synaptic plasticity and neuronal survival. Neuregulin-2 is primarily located in the brain and heart, where Neuregulin-2 is involved in signaling pathways that influence cell growth and differentiation. The interaction of Neuregulin-2 with ErbB-3 and ErbB-4 receptors is essential for proper formation of neuromuscular junctions and maintenance of cardiac function. Dysregulation of Neuregulin-2 signaling has been implicated in various neurological disorders and heart diseases, making Neuregulin-2 a significant target for therapeutic intervention. Using Neuregulin-2 monoclonal antibody (A-12) in research can provide valuable insights into molecular mechanisms underlying these critical biological processes.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-398594 P appropriate for?

Asked by: jenniferc
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
