Mycobacterium tuberculosis TB43 Antibody (1C3) is a high quality monoclonal Mycobacterium tuberculosis TB43 antibody (also designated Mycobacterium tuberculosis TB43 antibody) suitable for the detection of the Mycobacterium tuberculosis TB43 protein of Mycobacterium tuberculosis origin. Mycobacterium tuberculosis TB43 Antibody (1C3) is available as the non-conjugated anti-Mycobacterium tuberculosis TB43 antibody. Mycobacterium tuberculosis is the most common cause of tuberculosis and is one of the world′s most harmful human pathogens. Existing as a Gram-positive, obligate anaerobe that divides slowly (every 16 to 20 hours), Mycobacterium tuberculosis is only able to grow within a host organism and is able to persist within humans for long periods in a dormant state without causing any overt disease symptoms. Active Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection is characterized by a chronic, blood-tinged cough, night sweats, fever, appetite loss, chest pain and a tendency to fatigue very easily. The Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacterium contains a variety of auxiliary proteins that contribute to overall bacterial function and virulence. One of these such proteins is Mycobacterium tuberculosis TB43, which exists as a cell-associated pyridine nucleotide transhydrogenase that is involved in the regeneration of NADPH for amino acid synthesis.
