SEE ALSO...

MEF-2A Antibody (D-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects myocyte enhancer factor-2A (MEF-2A) in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). MEF-2A plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression during muscle cell, neuronal cell, and T cell differentiation, making MEF-2A essential for proper development and function in these tissues. MEF-2A is primarily located in the nucleus, where MEF-2A acts as a transcription factor by binding to specific DNA sequences in target gene promoter regions. Nuclear localization of MEF-2A enables interaction with other transcriptional regulators, such as co-activators and co-repressors, thereby modulating genes involved in muscle development and function. MEF-2A forms homo- and heterodimers with other MEF-2 family members to enhance regulatory capacity, allowing fine-tuned responses to developmental cues. Differential expression of MEF-2A during embryogenesis highlights MEF-2A′s importance in muscle differentiation and overall development, making anti-MEF-2A antibody (D-6) an invaluable tool for researchers studying muscle biology and related fields.
