Thank you for your question. LAMP1 Antibody (1D4B): sc-19992 is recommended for detection of LAMP-1 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and FCM. It can be used on mouse brain samples.

Thank you for your question. This antibody was raised against raised against NIH/3T3 mouse embryo fibroblast tissue culture cell membranes. The exact binding epitope has not been mapped. If you have any further questions, please contact Technical Service.

Has sc-19992 been used for Western blots with the Licor system? I have not been able to detect Lamp1 in 293T/17 lysates with 1D4B, but have always been able to see Lamp1 with H4A3 on our Odyssey.

Thank you for your question. We have not specifically tested this LAMP-1 Antibody (1D4B): sc-19992 using the Licor Odyssey system for detection. But the antibody does work for Western blot, so we would not expect any difficulty using it in a system with infrared detection reagents. LAMP-1 Antibody (1D4B) is a rat monoclonal IgG2a, while the other clone, (H4A3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1. Please check to see if the Licor-Odyssey secondary antibodies you are using are compatible with detection of both of these host species and isotypes. I would like to get anti-rat Lamp-1 for IF. Are there papers using this antibody for IF? Could I get a sample?

Thank you for your question. This particular LAMP-1 Antibody (1D4B): sc-19992 has been cited in 17 papers that we are aware of for use in IF. For example, PMID's: 15998735 and 23600861.
