PI-3,4,5-P3, 7NH4, PIP3, Dipalmitoyl- activates Ca2+-insensitive PKCδ, PKCε, and PKCη isozymes. Binds to the general receptor for phosphoinositide-1 (GRP1) protein through a plekstrin homology (PH) domain. Has also been shown to produce actin reorganization, membrane ruffling and increase motility of NIH/3T3 cells.
