HPRT抗体(F-1)是一种IgG1κ小鼠单克隆HPRT抗体(也称为次黄嘌呤磷酸核糖转移酶1抗体、HGPRT抗体、次黄嘌呤-鸟嘌呤磷酸核糖转移酶抗体、HGPRTase抗体、次黄嘌呤-鸟嘌呤磷酸核糖转移酶1抗体、睾丸组织蛋白Li 89抗体或莱希-尼汉综合征抗体),可通过WB、IP、IF、IHC(P)和ELISA检测小鼠、大鼠和人类来源的HPRT蛋白。 HPRT抗体(F-1)可以以非偶联抗HPRT抗体形式和多种偶联抗HPRT抗体形式提供,包括琼脂糖、HRP、PE、FITC和多种Alexa Fluor®偶联物。 HPRT(次黄嘌呤磷酸核糖转移酶1),也称为HGPRT或HPRT1,是一种218个氨基酸的细胞质蛋白,属于嘌呤/嘧啶磷酸核糖转移酶家族。参与嘌呤代谢,HPRT作为嘌呤救济酶发挥作用,催化次黄嘌呤和鸟嘌呤转化为各自的单核苷酸(分别为一磷酸肌苷和一磷酸鸟苷)。 HPRT以同四聚体形式存在,可以结合两个镁离子作为辅因子。编码HPRT的基因缺陷是痛风和莱希-尼汉综合征(LNS)的原因,这两种疾病均以NPRT酶活性部分或完全缺失为特征。虽然HPRT酶活性部分丧失导致尿酸积聚(痛风),但酶活性完全丧失导致高尿酸血症、精神发育迟滞、舞蹈手足徐动症和强迫性自残,这些都是与LNS相关的症状。这些疾病的严重程度表明HPRT在嘌呤代谢中起着重要作用。

Thank you for your question. HPRT Antibody (F-1) is recommended for detection of HPRT of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) and ELISA; also reactive with additional species, including equine, canine, bovine and porcine.

What dilution of sc-376938 did you use for the WB images on top of the website?

Thank you for your question. The recommended starting dilution for this antibody is 1:100, which is what was used here. Depending on your samples and experimental setup, a dilution range between 1:100-1:1000 is appropriate.
