fish Antibody (G-7) is a high quality monoclonal fish antibody (also designated SPD2A antibody, SH3 And PX Domains 2A antibody, Tyrosine Kinase Substrate With Five SH3 Domains antibody, SH3 And PX Domain-Containing Protein 2A antibody, Five SH3 Domain-Containing Protein antibody, SH3 Multiple Domains 1 antibody, Adapter Protein TKS5 antibody, SH3MD1 antibody, TKS5 antibody, SH3 Multiple Domains Protein 1 antibody, or Five SH3 Domains antibody) suitable for the detection of the fish protein of mouse, rat and human origin. fish Antibody (G-7) is available as both the non-conjugated anti-fish antibody form, as well as multiple conjugated forms of anti-fish antibody, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Fish, a potential Src substrate, is a broadly expressed adaptor protein containing five SH3 domains and a phox homology (PX) domain. The Src family of protein tyrosine kinases act in signal transduction pathways (2-4). Src kinases vary in expression but are strongly regulated in vivo; catalytic activity is repressed by interacting with the SH3 domain (5-7). In Src-transformed fibroblasts and in normal cells treated with certain growth factors fish is tyrosine-phosphorylated. Treatment of cells with cytochalasin D results in rapid tyrosine phosphorylation of fish, along with activation of Src. Fish is likely to be involved in tyrosine kinase signaling and may have a role in cytoskeletal changes.
