Hi, I wanted to ask an inquiry regarding claudin-6 Antibody (A-4): sc-393671. I couldnt understand the data sheet clearly. Can this antibody be used on the immunohistochemistry platform?

Thank you for your question. This antibody is recommended and warrantied for immunofluorescence on fresh frozen tissue sections or cells. It has not been tested for formalin fixed tissue sections (IHC(P)), so it is not recommended for that use at this time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Worked great for human cells, but not for mouseI used this antibody for both immunofluorescence and Western blot, and I must say it worked amazingly as long as I used human cells. But when I stained for Claudin 6 in mouse ES cells, it did not work, no matter how I prepared the sample, even though this protein should be expressed in these cells.
