CHIP抗体(G-2)是一种IgG1κ小鼠单克隆CHIP抗体(也称为STUB1抗体或E3泛素蛋白连接酶CHIP抗体),可通过WB、IP、IF和ELISA检测小鼠、大鼠和人源CHIP蛋白。CHIP抗体(G-2)既可作为非偶联抗CHIP抗体形式,也可作为多种偶联形式的抗CHIP抗体,包括琼脂糖、HRP、PE、FITC和多种Alexa Fluor®偶联物。CHIP(HSP70相互作用蛋白的羧基末端),也称为STIP1同源和含U-box的蛋白1、HSPABP2、NY-CO-7、SDCCAG7和STUB1,是一种影响蛋白质泛素化的细胞质E3泛素连接酶。CHIP与Smad1/Smad4相互作用,并通过泛素介导的Smad蛋白降解阻断BMP信号传导。CHIP控制Hsp70/Hsp90伴侣与ErbB2的结合以及Hsp90抑制剂诱导的ErbB2下调。一条1.3kb的转录本在横纹肌(心脏和骨骼肌)中含量最高,在胰腺和脑中的表达较低。

This antibody, CHIP (G-2): sc-133066, is specifically cited in the article (PMID: # 24651434 ) for use in Immunohistochemistry. Why didn't you put IHC under the Application of the manual?

Thank you for your question. For our applications we will not recommend a product for IHC(P) unless it is validated in house or is well established for this application in multiple publications. We will however cover the antibody by warranty for this application based on the publication record.

Are there any issues with background when using this antibody to stain mouse tissue?

Thank you for your question. This antibody is recommended for use with mouse tissue. In order to avoid any potential background issues with anti-mouse secondaries, we recommend using a directly conjugated version. This antibody is available conjugated to HRP, PE, FITC, AF488 and AF647.

You said this antibody was used in the article (PMID: # 24651434. ), but according to the article the anti-CHIP antibody used in it was from Cell Signaling (Boston, MA, USA) .

This is separate from the "Antibodies" section of Materials and Methods. See an excerpt from the publication below: "The primary antibody incubation was completed at 4°C overnight in a humidified chamber with the following antibodies: mouse monoclonal antibody PI3K-p85 (sc-1673, Santa Cruz Biotechnology; dilution 1 : 150), mouse monoclonal antibody CHIP (sc-133066, Santa Cruz Biotechnology; dilution 1 : 200)..."
