    SEE ALSO...

β-taxilin Antibody (A-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects β-taxilin of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). β-taxilin Antibody (A-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. β-taxilin, also known as MDP77, plays a crucial role in promoting nerve regeneration and is implicated in intracellular vesicle transport, which is vital for maintaining cellular communication and function. Predominantly expressed in cardiac and skeletal muscle, β-taxilin interacts with syntaxin family members STX1A, STX3A, and STX4A through its coiled coil region, facilitating essential processes in neurotransmitter release and muscle contraction. Additionally, β- and γ-taxilins bind to the alpha subunit of the nascent polypeptide-associated complex (NAC), influencing nuclear distribution and suggesting that the taxilin family is integral not only to the translational process via NAC interaction but also to transcriptional regulation through alphaNAC association. This multifaceted role underscores β-taxilin′s importance in both neuronal and muscular systems, making anti-β-taxilin antibody (A-5) a valuable tool for researchers studying these critical biological processes.
