B-FABP Antibody (F-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects B-FABP of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). B-FABP (F-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Brain fatty acid-binding protein (B-FABP) plays a crucial role in the central nervous system, particularly in radial glial cells during development, where B-FABP is involved in the uptake and transport of fatty acids, which are essential for neuronal growth and function.
