ABCA4抗体(3F4)是一种IgG1 κ小鼠单克隆ABCA4抗体,可通过蛋白质印迹法、免疫沉淀法、免疫荧光法和免疫组织化学法(IHC(P))检测小鼠、大鼠和人类来源的ABCA4。ABCA4抗体(3F4)既有偶联型也有非偶联型抗ABCA4抗体形式。ATP结合盒(ABC)超家族由参与各种底物能量依赖性跨膜转运的跨膜蛋白组成。ABCA4(也称为ABCR、光感受器RIM或RMP)是一种光感受器特异性的ATP结合盒(ABC)转运蛋白。ABCA4仅在光感受器细胞中表达,表明ABCA4介导必需分子进入或离开光感受器细胞的转运。编码ABCA4的基因突变是导致常染色体隐性遗传性Stargardt病(STGD,一种早期发病的黄斑变性)以及一些形式的常染色体隐性遗传性视锥-视杆细胞营养不良和常染色体隐性遗传性视网膜色素变性的原因。此外,ABCA4突变的杂合性可能是年龄相关性黄斑变性的一个危险因素。ABCA4与小鼠和人类的ABC1和ABC2关系最为密切,定位于人类1p22.1染色体上。

What is the recognised epitope by this antibody?

Thank you for your question. ABCA4 Antibody (3F4): sc-65672 was raised against 220-kDa ABCA4 protein of bovine origin. No epitope mapping has been performed for this particular antibody as of yet, so its exact binding site is not known at this point.

Will this anti-ABCA4 (SC-65672) bind ABCA4 ECD1 or ECD2? Need for Flow cytometry... Thx

Thank you for your question. The exact epitope recognized by this mouse monoclonal antibody has not yet been determined. We do not know whether or not the antibody binds to ECD1 or ECD2.

I purchased your ABCA4 (3F4) sc-65672 antibody last year and tried it on fibroblast cells following one of the published paper but I didn't get the expected band. Can you help me with that? Thanks.

Hello I wish to know if it is possible to recieve the 3F4 ABCA4 antibody conjugated to agarose or sepharose. And if so how the 3F4-immunoaffinity column should be prepared.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with ABCA4 Antibody (3F4): sc-65672?

We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins (m-IgGκ) conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems.
