OCT6 Antibody (H-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects OCT6 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-OCT6 antibody (H-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. OCT6 (H-6) antibody recognizes a member of the organic cation transporter family that plays a crucial role in the transport of endogenous amines and cationic drugs across cell membranes, which is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and drug metabolism. OCT6 is predominantly expressed in the testis and fetal liver, as well as in human hematopoietic tissues, including CD34+ cells and various leukemias, highlighting OCT6′s potential as a therapeutic target in leukemia treatment. A 12-transmembrane-domain configuration and large extracellular hydrophilic loop characterize OCT6′s structure, which is essential for facilitating selective transport of cationic substances, thereby influencing pharmacokinetics and therapeutic agent efficacy.
