NDUFB3 Antibody (31-B) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects NDUFB3 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NDUFB3, also known as NADH dehydrogenase (ubiquinone) 1 beta subcomplex subunit 3, is a crucial 98 amino acid hydrophobic protein that plays an essential role as an accessory subunit of Complex I in the mitochondrial inner membrane. NDUFB3 is vital for the proper functioning of the electron transport chain, facilitating the transfer of electrons from NADH to ubiquinone, ultimately contributing to ATP synthesis by creating an electrochemical proton gradient. The structural integrity of NDUFB3 is important, as NDUFB3 is part of a complex assembly of at least 45 different subunits, and any alterations in its structure can lead to impaired mitochondrial function and energy production, which are critical for cellular metabolism and overall cellular health. Anti-NDUFB3 antibody (31-B) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying mitochondrial function and related metabolic disorders, providing insights into the intricate mechanisms of energy production at the cellular level.
