    SEE ALSO...

Matrilin-4 Antibody (F-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Matrilin-4 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Matrilin-4 (F-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Matrilin-4 serves as a crucial component of the extracellular matrix, particularly in cartilage, where Matrilin-4 plays a significant role in maintaining structural integrity and facilitating cellular interactions. Matrilin-4 is primarily expressed in embryonic kidney, lung, and placenta, proving vital for proper cartilage development and function. The matrilin family, including Matrilin-1 through Matrilin-4, contributes to the assembly and organization of the extracellular matrix, with anti-Matrilin-4 antibody (F-2) specifically detecting proteins involved in forming filamentous networks that support cartilage architecture. Understanding Matrilin-4 function remains essential, as disruptions in expression or function can lead to various cartilage-related disorders, highlighting Matrilin-4′s importance in both developmental biology and potential therapeutic applications.
