Can this antibody be used with mouse cells (BV-2 microglial cells)?

Thank you for your question. sc-30226 is discontinued. Dicer (H-212) is recommended for detection of Dicer of mouse, rat, human and chicken origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA. Now, we have mouse source Dicer monoclonal antibodies. https://www.scbt.com/browse/dicer-Antibodies/_/N-2vx0z9

Hello - I'm interested in testing this antibody for brain tissue immunohistochemistry. I was not able to find previous studies using this antibody for this purpose. Please let me know if it's possible to receive a small aliquot for testing. Thank you.

Thank you for your question. This rabbit polyclonal antibody, Dicer (H-212): sc-30226, is now discontinued. We would recommend our mouse monoclonal antibody, Dicer (F-10): sc-136979, as a replacement. We have IHC(P) data using this antibody in various tissues on our website, however, not in brain tissue.
