ZSWIM1 Antibody (G-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgM kappa antibody that detects ZSWIM1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-ZSWIM1 antibody (G-5) is available as the non-conjugated form. ZSWIM1, also known as zinc finger SWIM domain-containing protein 1 or C20orf162, is a 485 amino acid protein characterized by the presence of a SWIM-type zinc finger, which plays a crucial role in DNA binding and transcriptional regulation. ZSWIM1 is primarily located in the nucleus, where ZSWIM1 is involved in various cellular processes, including gene expression modulation and chromatin remodeling. Proper functioning of ZSWIM1 is essential for maintaining normal cellular activities, as dysregulation of ZSWIM1 expression has been linked to several diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and certain cancers. ZSWIM1 gene is situated on human chromosome 20, a region that harbors numerous genes associated with critical biological functions and diseases, making ZSWIM1 a significant area of interest for genetic research and therapeutic development.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-390688 P appropriate for?

Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
