    WNK4 Antibody (1E6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects WNK4 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-WNK4 antibody (1E6) is available as the non-conjugated format. WNK4, a member of the WNK kinase family, plays a crucial role in regulating ion transport and blood pressure homeostasis, making WNK4 significant in cardiovascular health and renal function. Located primarily in the kidney, WNK4 is involved in signaling pathways that control sodium and potassium balance, which are essential for maintaining electrolyte homeostasis. Dysregulation of WNK4 can lead to conditions such as hypertension and other renal disorders, highlighting WNK4′s importance in both physiological and pathological processes. WNK4 consists of 1,243 amino acids and shares a high degree of homology with other WNK kinases, particularly WNK1, WNK2, and WNK3, which underscores the evolutionary conservation of WNK4′s function. Aberrant activity of WNK4 and associated pathways can result in increased renal salt reabsorption and impaired excretion of potassium and hydrogen ions, further emphasizing the need for precise detection and study of WNK4 in research and clinical settings.
