Could you tested the MC3T3-E1 preosteoblast cells? Reagent's high amounts (1-1.5 ul for 48-well plate) have toxic effects on the cell, while low amounts (0.5 ul for 48-well plate) are not sufficient for transfection. Is there any solution you can offer?

Asked by: Nur4
Thank you for your question. Thank you for your question. Please contact our Technical Service Department for assistance with the transfection reagent. It is rare that the transfection reagent is toxic to the cells, so I highly recommend getting in touch with Technical Support.

I am using double nikase plasmid to konckout ApoE gene in CCF-STTG1 human astrocytoma cell, but the cells were died 24 hours posttransfection. I tried 5ul and 10 ul of Ultracruz transfection reagent per well. How can I solve this trouble shoot?

Asked by: AKAU
Thank you for your question. We have not tested our UltraCruz® Transfection Reagent in that same specific cell line. Please contact our Technical Service Department for assistance in troubleshooting your protocol.

it is mentioned that SC-395739 is supplied at 0.2 ml in the data sheet of this product while in the ordering information it is mentioned the unit volume is 20 ml with a cost of 91$ So, I am confused if I order this product which volume will be provided

Asked by: Manar
Thank you for bringing this discrepancy to our attention. This product, UltraCruz® Transfection Reagent: sc-395739, is supplied as 0.2 ml. The unit volume of 20 ml was an error on our website that has been corrected.
