Description
UltraCruz® CoolCaddy PCR Workstation keeps reagents and samples cool on a lab bench-top without using crushed ice. It supplies temperature-controlled samples that won't freeze, which is a possible side effect when using ice baths. Simply store it overnight in any standard freezer and it’s ready to hold temperatures between 2° and 4° C for up to 5 hours. The CoolCADDY protects enzymes, reagents, and temperature sensitive samples when working with PCR samples. It is the ideal workstation for PCR protocols requiring multi dispensing of samples and more than 30 minutes of bench-top preparation work. Tubes, plates, strips, and multi-channel reservoir solutions can all be kept cool while you perform your experiments. CoolCaddy PCR Workstation holds 5 x 0.5 ml microtubes; 9 x 1.5-2.0 ml tubes; 8 x 2.0 ml cryotubes; 1 x 96 well plate or 12 strips; and 1 x 50 ml reservoir. Overall dimensions are 8 1/4 x 6 3/4 x 2 inches or 210 x 172 x 45 millimeters.
