    SEE ALSO...

Testosterone 3 CMO Antibody (3T16) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the Testosterone 3 CMO protein by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Testosterone 3 CMO antibody (3T16) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Testosterone 3 CMO, also known as Testosterone-3-carboxy-methyl-oxyme, is a steroid hormone belonging to the androgen group, primarily secreted by the testis, with smaller amounts produced in the ovaries, adrenal cortices, and placenta, typically derived from cholesterol. This hormone plays a crucial role in the development of male external genitalia during fetal growth and is essential for stimulating protein synthesis, which contributes to the greater muscular development observed in males. Additionally, Testosterone 3 CMO is responsible for the emergence of male secondary sex characteristics, such as facial hair and deeper voice, and is vital for overall health and well-being in both males and females. Post-translational modifications of Testosterone 3 CMO, such as phosphorylation and glycosylation, can influence activity and stability, impacting physiological functions and interactions with other proteins. These modifications are important for regulating hormone bioavailability and ability to bind to androgen receptors, thereby affecting various biological processes, including metabolism and reproductive functions.
