QUICK LINKS

Sodium DL-lactate is a sodium salt of lactic acid, which is useful as an intermediate in the synthesis of depsipeptides. Studies suggest that Sodium DL-lactate can induce pulmonary apoptosis, via restricting phosphorylation to apoptotic proteins such as NOS3 (eNOS). In addition, Sodium DL-lactate can increase blood glucose and plasma insulin levels. Sodium DL-lactate contains an equal concentration of D and L isomers.
