Retinamide is a selective and potent apoptosis-inducing agent derived from Vitamin A. It works by binding to nuclear receptors and triggering a cascade of biochemical reactions that lead to changes in gene expression and the formation of new proteins. This ultimately leads to changes in cellular function and behavior. Retinamide has been found to stimulate cell proliferation, induce cell differentiation, and inhibit cell death. It has also been shown to modulate the expression of genes involved in cell cycle regulation, apoptosis, and inflammation. Furthermore, Retinamide has been used to study the effects of Vitamin A on cell differentiation and development, as well as its role in cancer research.
