Rab 6 Antibody (3G3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Rab 6 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Rab 6 antibody (3G3) is available as the non-conjugated format. Rab 6 protein, also known as RAB6B or RAB6A, is a 208 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in intracellular transport processes, particularly in vesicle movement between the endoplasmic reticulum and the Golgi apparatus. Rab 6 protein is a member of the small GTPase superfamily and is ubiquitously expressed, highlighting fundamental importance in cellular function. Rab 6 protein is involved in vesicle trafficking regulation, which is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and facilitating protein delivery to correct destinations. Proper functioning of Rab 6 protein is vital for processes such as secretion and membrane recycling, and dysregulation has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Using Rab 6 (3G3) antibody in research can provide valuable insights into vesicular transport mechanisms and Rab protein roles in cellular dynamics.
