Datasheets

    • mouse IgG kappa binding protein (m-IgGκ BP) conjugated to CruzFluor™ 790 (CFL 790)
    • supplied at 200 µg in 0.5 ml volume
    • CruzFluor™ 790 (CFL 790) is a near infrared fluorescent dye that is an excellent substitute for Alexa Fluor® 790, offering comparable photostability and the ability to resist protein quenching
    • Excitation of 786 nm, Emission of 811 nm
    • Suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) imaging systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey, Invitrogen/iBright and other comparable systems
    • Strongly recommended alternative to conventional anti-mouse IgG secondary antibodies for Near-Infrared Western blotting (WB [NIR]), Immunofluorescence (IF) and Flow Cytometry (FCM)
    • Suitable for binding to most, but not all, mouse IgGκ light chain immunoglobulins; not suitable for use with mouse monoclonal IgGλ light chain antibodies
    • Highly specific reagent that provides strong signal with minimal background and virtually complete elimination of lot to lot variation associated with conventionally generated secondary antibodies
    • For optimal results, use low fluorescence PVDF membranes, such as Immobilon®-FL PVDF, and UltraCruz® Blocking Reagent (sc-516214) for all blocking, primary antibody and mouse IgG binding protein incubations.
    • Mouse IgG binding proteins are recommended for some, but not all of our monoclonal antibodies. Product descriptions on our monoclonal antibody product pages will state if the Mouse IgG binding protein is the preferred detection reagent for that product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from strong signal and nice quality This product is a good alternative of a secondary antibody, especially when the IP product is the similar size as the heavy chain. I used it to minimalize the cross reactivity between an anti-mouse IgG and an anti-mouse IgM for a double staining in Western Blot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent I used this secondry antibody to decrease the high background issue I had using mouse anti mouse antibody and it works! It decreases my non specific bands significantly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from m-IgGk BP-CFL790 Worked really well for western blotting producing very clean bands in extracts run from primary human monocytes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant signal I got a sample of CFL790 to try with near IR western blot to image with Licor Odyssey Fc. We saw brilliant signal without much optimization. We used it to detect GFP with mouse anti GFP from SCBT along with CFL790 at 1:1000. Earlier we had to struggle to see signal with Licor IR Dy680. I highly recommend this to save a ton of your time in optimization.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clean signal, little or no background This work well for our detection of GAPDH in HEK cells cyoplasmic lysate at 1:2000

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Band This antibody's quality is so nice. I got the nice band.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very sensitive secondary antibody for WB The secondary antibody was used at 1/3000 to 1/4000 dilutions in 5% nonfat milk, and the signals were detect by an Odyssey scanner. Bands are very clear, and the sensitivity seems better than HRP.
