Hi, I am using this antibody in rat brain samples. I am getting multiple bands, some very very faint and two nice bands but apparently at the wrong MW, one is between 37 and 50 KDa, and one around 75KDa. Could I consider one of them specific?

Thank you for your question. This antibody has been discontinued for a while, so it is possible that you have an old vial that no longer works properly. We recommend you check out our reliable monoclonal alternatives for IL-1β detection instead. I was used these antibodies and I have a question. Are those antibodies recognazing the active form of IL1B?

Thank you for your question. This antibody, sc-7884, is a rabbit polyclonal antibody with a large epitope, and should be able to recognize the active for of IL-1beta.
