QUICK LINKS

Guanethidine Hemisulfate has been extensively studied in scientific research for its ability to lower blood pressure. It blocks the release of norepinephrine from sympathetic nerve endings. Norepinephrine is a hormone that constricts blood vessels and increases blood pressure. By blocking its release, Guanethidine Hemisulfate causes blood vessels to relax and blood pressure to decrease. It also decreases heart rate and cardiac output, which further reduces blood pressure.
