FARP1 Antibody (2D4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects FARP1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-FARP1 antibody (2D4) is available as the non-conjugated format. FARP1, also known as PLEKHC2 or CDEP, is a 1,045 amino acid protein characterized by the presence of one FERM domain, one DH domain, and two PH domains, which are crucial for functioning as a Rho-guanine nucleotide exchange factor. FARP1 plays a significant role in cellular signaling by facilitating the exchange of GDP for GTP on Rho family GTPases, thereby influencing cytoskeletal dynamics and cell migration.
