    SEE ALSO...

ExoC3L2 Antibody (H-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ExoC3L2 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ExoC3L2 (H-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ExoC3L2, also known as HBV X-transactivated gene 7 protein, plays a significant role in the exocyst complex, which is essential for the proper targeting of exocytic vesicles to specific docking sites on the plasma membrane. This complex is crucial for exocytosis, a process that facilitates the secretion of hormones and neurotransmitters, as well as the incorporation of membrane proteins and lipids into the plasma membrane, thereby influencing cell-cell communication, growth, and polarity. The exocyst complex is composed of several proteins, including Sec3, Sec5, Sec6, Sec8, Sec10, Sec15, Exo70, and Exo84, and has been shown to inhibit tubulin polymerization in vitro, indicating its role in modulating microtubule dynamics that are vital for exocytosis. With its 409 amino acid structure, ExoC3L2 is closely related to the Sec6 component of the exocyst complex, highlighting its importance in cellular processes and potential implications in various diseases.
