DY131 is a novel selective agonist at estrogen-related receptors ERRbeta and ERRgamma. These nuclear receptors are implicated in a wide array of physiological processes, including energy metabolism, cellular differentiation, and the regulation of circadian rhythms. By influencing these receptors, DY131 offers a tool for elucidating the functions and mechanisms of action of ERRs in various biological applications. Displays minimal activity at ERRalpha, ERalpha and ERbeta at concentrations up to 30 muM. DY131 has demonstrated its ability to influence the function of different enzymes, including cyclooxygenase and lipoxygenase, and various cellular receptors like G-protein coupled receptors, as evidenced by in vitro studies. Moreover, DY131 exhibits notable anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, and anti-cancer properties.
