SEE ALSO...

D3DR Antibody (9F4) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects D3DR protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-D3DR antibody (9F4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. D3DR protein, a member of the dopamine receptor family, plays a crucial role in the central nervous system by mediating dopamine effects, a key neurotransmitter involved in regulating mood, cognition, and motor control. D3DR is primarily located in the limbic areas of the brain, which are associated with emotional responses and reward pathways. This localization suggests D3DR may be involved in modulating behaviors related to motivation and pleasure, making D3DR a potential target for therapeutic interventions in conditions such as schizophrenia and drug addiction. D3DR interaction with other proteins, such as G-proteins, further underscores D3DR importance in signal transduction pathways that influence neuronal activity and synaptic plasticity.
