QUICK LINKS

Bisphenol F bis(3-chloro-2-hydroxypropyl) ether, or BFDGE, has been used as an analytical standard in the determination of toxic monomers released from the inner coating of cans. It is suitable for gas chromatography (GC) and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The compound has been studied for its anti-androgenic effects, using cells stably transfected with human androgen receptor. It is also primarily used as a monomer in the production of epoxy resins and other polymer materials.
