Ammonium-(15-N) chloride is a heavy-nitrogen labeled inorganic compound. Ammonium-(15-N) chloride is an isotope labelled analogue of Ammonium Chloride. In fertilizers, Ammonium-(15-N) chloride can be used as a nitrogen source. Ammonium-(15-N) chloride also is used in flavoring agents. When 15N is needed to be incorporated in sporulation protein, CsfB, or for NMR spectroscopy, Ammonium-(15-N) chloride may be used as a medium supplement. Ammonium-(15-N) chloride may also incorporate 15N in apolipoprotein A-I for mass spectrum analysis.
